Gloria and I had a wonderful visit this week with Jack and Charlene MacKenzie in their lovely unit at Chateau de Champlain in Saint John.
On Saturday, Gloria and I attended an appreciation corn boil that was held for more than 50 volunteers who helped greatly in the preparation, operation and ongoing care for Beulah Camp this summer. Great food, warm fellowship, beautiful weather, appreciation gifts and door prizes were all part of an outstanding afternoon. Thanks to Rob Trafton for the prep work. Thanks also to Rob and Marti for hosting what will no doubt become an annual event.
I installed Vince Robertson as pastor at Head of Millstream yesterday morning. We also enjoyed a fellowship lunch following the service.
On a personal note – when each of our grandchildren turn 6, papa (that’s me) takes them on a VIA Rail train trip from Moncton to Sackville. This week was Jack’s turn and we made our journey on Thursday. Great time and a real memory maker.
